Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Superintendent to manage a fleet of tankers/bulk carriers. You will ensure vessels are maintained to the highest standards and comply with all classification and flag state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor vessel performance and planned maintenance systems.
- Prepare and oversee dry dockings and repairs.
- Conduct vessel inspections and internal audits.
- Manage technical budgets and spare parts procurement.
- Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, and MLC regulations.
Requirements
- Chief Engineer (Class 1) Competency Certificate.
- 2+ years of shore-based experience as Superintendent.
- Experience with Tankers or Bulk Carriers preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations.
- Willingness to travel for vessel inspections.
